PERSONALITY OUTLINE {UNDER CONSTRUCTION} (TW: mentions of violence, abuse, rape, suicide, and drugs)
BRITISH so will use some of those things?
Having grown up with a father that expected big things of him, Christopher (at the time) immediately felt pressured to study extra hard. So, at the age of six while most children were making friends and playing, he was reading and learning about the scientific method.
Once he saw how "odd" he was, compared to most children his age, he began to express an interest in making friends. He would ask his father if he could have kids from school over, upon learning about things such as "sleepovers" and "birthday parties" (he'd never had one of those before). His father scoffed and told him that future officers of the military "don't need friends". Eight-year-old Christopher, while feeling a growing resentment to his father, simply complied.
At ten, Christopher was the child that got picked on, a lot. He was top of his class, but that certainly didn't earn any admiration from anyone- except for one girl. An upperclassman, by the name of Claire began to sit with him after school, allowing him to help her with her homework. She'd occassionally eat lunch with him, and tease him affectionately about how his hands looked far too soft for a boy's. He didn't get it.
After she graduated, he was completely alone, until the day he graduated.
After his father's addiction came into play, Christopher's hatred of his father grew. It was amplified, even more, after he told him he didn't want to join the military. He wanted to play, he wanted friends, and he wanted to be "normal". The last thing Christopher remembered hearing, just before blacking out, was: "Christopher, my boy, you will follow in the family's footsteps. Otherwise, you can consider yourself an orphan!"
After waking up in a bloodied mess, hours later, he never challenged his father, again. That was to be the last time he cried, for years to come. He not only hated his father, after that. He was terrified of him, and he hated himself for that fact. So, the reason Christopher started to wish he was an orphan, was because he genuinely couldn't stand his father, by that point. On several occasions, he wished for him to die- though, it was only ever after waking up on the floor.
After joining the military academy, at the age of fourteen, he quickly moved up. He was hellbent on becoming the best; it had nothing to do with his father. At least, that was what he told himself. He told himself it was so that, maybe, he could be "good for something", for once. Since becoming a soldier was, apparently, "all" he was "good for"...he would do it. He was top of his class in academics, and bottom of the top twenty in the skills area, within a year. People gave him lots of crap, regarding his father, after the man visited Christopher's school completely drugged out of his mind.
He was repeatedly accused of cheating on his tests; he was outright bullied by some of his classmates, due to it. Not once did he ever take the offensive against them. While he'd fight back in a defensive sense, it was never in a way that would actually hurt the other person. Deep down, he wanted nothing more than to be their friends. It didn't help that he'd been made meek by the things his father had done to him, in the past. So, in spite of the harsh treatment by his fellow students, he continued to help them, where it was needed. It was during these years that he learned to fake a smile rather well. His acting skilled began to become flawless, as he was able to act incredibly happy, even when he wanted to do nothing more than scream or cry.
Once he officially joined the military, at the age of eighteen, things slowly began to change. His now-more-mature classmates began to see just how hard he worked. Selflessly, he was quick to jump in the way of danger, for his comrades. It was just fortunate that never earned him any fatal injuries. Even with the scolding from his fellow soldiers, he didn't...care. DEEP down, there were some suicidal intentions. By the age of twenty, he'd managed to earn respect, however. He clawed his way up the ranks and never stopped immmersing himself in his work, all for the sake of forgetting just how much he didn't want to be in it. He hated the military, only-somewhat-secretly. That was to be an ever-growing hatred.
At the young age of twenty-three, he managed to become someone rather important within the military. It was only due to his intelligence, however. His innovative ideas and futuristic way of thinking made him invaluable, which had been something he was secretive about. Because of how much importance had been placed on his being smart, by his father, he didn't...like the idea of using that. He was content with being a soldier that was used for physical power, in spite of his not being all that impressive.
It was at this time he was reunited with Claire. The two hit it off, rather quickly. Everyone was surprised to see the switch in Christopher's personality. Around her, he completely relaxed. It was only around her that his smile was genuine. She brought out a side of Christopher that seemed...happy. Which was very much the case. Christopher very much cared about her, as she was the only friend he'd ever had. She'd never judged him. After learning about the things that his father had done to him, all she'd done was hug him. Whenever someone had picked on him, there had been a few rare incidents where she resorted to punching the person in the face and telling them to "lay off it!"
She wasn't much different as an adult, either...
As it turned out, Claire had feelings for him. She admitted this to her friend, where it was overheard by a large group of people. Unfortunately, things took a terrible turn, immediately after that. Someone had a very big crush on Claire. One of Christopher's jealous subordinates, Jeremy, decided to ensure that Christopher was never able to date her. The plan was originally as so (as learned, by Christopher, later on):
1) Get a copy of the key to Christopher's apartment.
2) Plant a woman's lingerie in his living room.
3) Send a message to Claire, as "Christopher", inviting her to his place, stating that the key would be under the mat.
4) "Bob's your uncle"...?
Unfortunately, Jeremy's plan went a little out of control, the more people he gained the help of. The message was sent way too soon. Two of the people were in the apartment when she arrived. She recognized the people as two of the ones that had nearly beaten Christopher unconscious. So when they tried to tell her they were there, as friends, she told them to get the hell out of there. It started a huge fight that ended with them sexually assaulting her, in the worst way, with a crow bar, as discovered by police, later. As means of stopping her from telling their identities, they killed her with Christopher's gun.
In the end, Christopher was left standing over the unmoving body of Claire. It was in that moment, his mind went into a state of shock. For two weeks straight, he wouldn't say anything other than "It wasn't me", which did nothing to help him. He was easily tried and found guilty of murder- a crime he had most certainly held no involvement in.
While in prison, he was targeted many times by fellow inmates with a desire to dominate him.
One year later, he'd managed to escape prison by faking his own death (details of this to come later). Without even an ounce of hesitation, he began his plans for revenge. He changed his information in the system, changed his name, and changed his very personality.
For starters, he obtained an exceptional ability to lie. He became flirtateous and lost quite a bit of his ability to care about murder.
Quinn being a high rank was his reason for seeking him out, drawing him in, befriending him. The fact that he happened to be the son of the Admiral that had assisted in putting him in prison, was a million times better. He'd never expected to find the guy...likeable, on any level. He grew to like Quinn on some level, instanteously. He sensed a faint familiarity within him. Not that it was anywhere near enough for him to regret his plans. He didn't, at all.
~*~
He's going to find a way to seek out each person that had been in charge of his trial, and slit their fucking throats. He's thought that plan through so many times, it doesn't even faze him to think about it.
He's already researched the backgrounds of each and every member of the higher ups. He saw the part about Quinn lacking a mother. He put the pieces together, imagining that something of that nature had brought about problems in Quinn's family. He imagined that might have brought tension between Quinn's father and the rest of the family- then...as domino effect would have it, between Quinn's father...and Quinn, himself. That's how it often works, after all.
So began his plan for very much getting back at those who'd wronged him. It didn't take him long, at all, to locate the one that had truly wronged him. That man was "repaid" in a way that had him begging for death.
~*~
One of Quinn's responses to him that stuck out most, for...some reason: "I don't ask that you cater to me, but I do ask that you treat me like a fellow man. "
Note: a shift in stance, followed by a twitch of his left hand is the indication of his lying, sometimes
"Well, we can't pick our families. Nor, can we pick how our families treat us. But, we can certainly pick our futures, and mold what the future holds for us, with careful hands."
To Quinn telling him about fighting for his mother: Fighting for your mother is an admirable thing. *He smiles* ...I wouldn't know what it's like to fight for someone else. Even when given the short-lived opportunity, I never found anyone to fight for. *He shrugs one shoulder, looking away.* Tell me, do you suppose that makes it easier? Having someone to fight for, I mean."
"Regrets do nothing to change even the smallest detail of your life, if you're not willing to use it to boost yourself down a new, fresh path. I don't believe in saying "live your life without regrets", because regret can be...a very powerful tool in making decisions for your future. If you don't regret any of your mistakes, you'll never learn from them. It's the feelings that we have towards the idiotic decisions we make as humans, that teach us to- *His expression tensed* -never...ever make those decisions, ever again. They can teach us the truth about...our fellow humans, and it can teach us the truth about ourselves and just exactly what we're... *his eyes were going to go sad just for the last two words, as his speech slowed, making it clear he would fall into thought with them* ...capable of.
He closed that part of the conversation with: Well, I do hope you find the..."peace of heart" you're looking for, Quinn. *His eyes shift to the side and his voice almost falls too quiet to be heard.* Never forget who you truly are. *He sighs and continues in that quiet voice* Such naive words.

Extreme case of dominance issues, due to certain things that happened to him during his imprisonment.
His way of dealing with flirts is to flirt back harder, to ensure he doesn't show weakness.
He has zero problem with killing, though he does tend to hold the lives of women and children in higher regard. Even so, he could kill them, too. He was a soldier, and...things did happen, where he happened to become desensitized.
Very...not okay...with anything regarding rape, of any kind.
